average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) were Jigawa
(N140.57), Borno (N140.50) and Taraba
(N140.44).
States with the lowest
average price of premium motor spirit (petrol) were Abuja/Ebonyi/Edo/Ekiti/Kwara/Oyo (N125.00), Bayelsa (N125.38) and Enugu (N125.42).

Average price paid by consumers for automotive gas oil
(diesel) decreased by -1.18%
month-on-month and by -2.84%
year-on-year to N224.11 in April 2020 from to N226.78
in March 2020.
States with the highest average price of diesel were Sokoto (N249.29),
Taraba (N243.33)
and Borno (N240.00).
States with the lowest average price of diesel were Bayelsa (N186.92),
Edo (N208.22)
and Rivers (N209.59).

Average price per litre paid by consumers for National
Household Kerosene increased by 2.44% month-on-month
and by 8.24% year-on-year to N342.33 in April
2020 from N334.16 in March
2020.
States with the highest average price per litre of
kerosene were Imo (N407.50)
, Enugu (N399.07),
and Taraba (N398.33).
States with the lowest average price per litre of
kerosene were Bayelsa (N228.57), Oyo
(N297.57) and Rivers
(N299.93).
Similarly, average price per gallon paid by consumers
for National Household Kerosene decreased
by -0.90% month-on-month and by -0.63% year-on-year to N1,204.33
in April 2020 from N1,215.25
in March 2020.
States with the highest average price per gallon of
kerosene were Adamawa (N1,420.00),
Ekiti (N1,325.71)
and Zamfara (N1,313.64).
States with the lowest average price per gallon of
kerosene were Oyo (N1,035.33),
Osun (N1,076.43)
and Bauchi (N1,090.00).

Average price for the refilling of a 5kg
cylinder for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) decreased by -1.20%
month-on-month and by -4.36% year-on-year to N1,957.32 in April 2020 from
N1,981.07 in March 2020.
States with the highest average price for
the refilling of a 5kg cylinder for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) were
Bauchi (N2,486.55), Adamawa (N2,398.04) and Borno (N2,385.72).
States with the lowest average price for
the refilling of a 5kg cylinder for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Cooking Gas) were

Similarly, average price for the refilling
