2018 was a year marked by turbulence for some and characterised by recovery for others. A few analysts wished the past year 2018 good riddance while others simply embraced the prospects of the new year 2019 with enthusiasm.

In our view despite the usual optimism that greet the typical New Year, 2019 will be one filled with uncharacteristic anxiety, fear and uncertainty. This being said, for those willing to apply intellectual rigour to their activities, the year could return uncommon gains for those prepared for the heavy lifting.

On January 1, 2019, CEO of Financial Derivatives, Bismarck Rewane sat down with Boason Omofaye on the ChannelsTV “Business Morning” to discuss people, business and economic developments to watch out for in the 2019. We share below, the slide presentation.
