Market Commentary
The CBN held off conducting an OMO auction today. Despite this, market liquidity moderated to 99 billion, however, the Interbank rate declined 129bps to settle at 4.57%.

Trading activity remained positive in the secondary market, with average T-bills yields declining 25bps (-86bps w/w). Demand was prevalent across the space, with significant declines in yields on the mid-end. Meanwhile, trading was mixed in the bond market, as traders looked to protect their offers on the shorter-end, while benchmark yields on the long-end of the space declined. Overall, benchmark yields declined 4bps on average d/d and -1bp w/w.

Market Outlook
Given the current market liquidity and the MPC meeting on Monday and Tuesday, we expect activity in the T-bills space to remain positive, with yields likely to moderate further. Meanwhile, in the bond space, we expect a relatively positive session at the start of next week, as market participants look to bet against the bond auction and purchase more bonds, sending yields lower.
