The Medium Term Framework for 2018 to 2020 was recently made available by the Budget Office. In line with the earlier expenditure switch policy, the Federal Government intends to maintain an average of 7.2% growth in expenditure over the period.   At the same time ensuring budget deficit to GDP is below 3%, underlining the importance to remain within acceptable bands.

Certainly the market appetite will be sustained as it provides opportunity for cash replenishing.  The maturity of commercial instruments in the week will worth the same value which will dampen the effect in the money market.
