Market Commentary
System liquidity remains healthy at ?201.85 billion as the Interbank Call rate moderated 14bps to 5.29%.

Meanwhile, trading in the secondary T-bills market was mixed today with a positive tilt as the average yield on FGN Treasury Bills declined 7bps; T-bill yields fell 55bps w/w. Trading in the bond market was relatively mixed today as well, with the average yield on benchmark bonds declining by a soft 4bps; average benchmark bond yield advanced 8bps w/w.

Market Outlook
Given the current system liquidity, it is safe to expect the CBN to conduct an OMO auction in the coming week. We expect trading in the T-bills market to open the week on a mixed note with a positive tilt to the space. We foresee a mixed session in the bond space to start the week. Inflation data for May is set to be released at the start of next week. A headline inflation figure that is better than consensus expectations should improve sentiment in the bond space.
