Iram Zaidi: Board of Advisor, The Khadija Initiative.

A development sector professional and women's rights advocate, Iram's academic and professional trajectory spans over two decades of Public Relations and social activism across South Asia, Middle East & North America.

Iram was part of the global PR industry from 1997-2008 working with multinational PR firms Integral PR, Burson-Marsteller and Edelman in India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Some of the high-profile clients she handled included Coca-Cola India, 3M Gulf, Xerox Middle East, Microsoft, General Electric, and Emaar Properties. In 2005, Iram moved on to pursue a Master's in Women's Studies from Simon Fraser University, Canada, before making a transition into the social sector. Her inspiration was rooted in her passion to impact women's issues at the local and global level through her knowledge and skills. Since 2008, Iram has supported key social issues including women's empowerment and gender equality through diverse positions in fundraising outreach, advocacy, and program implementation in Canadian and Indian NGOs, INGOs and foundations,.

Presently, Iram is actively engaged with prominent social impact organizations in India. She also writes on topical women's issues for various print and online platforms.
