One of Nigeria's foremost insurance company, Africa Alliance as part of its objective to reinvent itself, unveiled a new corporate identity in Lagos.
This marked another milestone in its corporate existence and attracted board members, clients, customers and the investment community.
Giving the opening remarks, the Chairman Mr. Anthony Okocha lauded the step that was taken by the company, believing that the rebranding strategy will enable the company achieve its growth initiative. Speaking further Mr. Okocha said the focus for Africa Alliance is to deploy innovation, technology and communication to improve its service delivery.
As one of the oldest life insurance firms established in 1960, African Alliance is poised to transform the landscape of the segment by expanding its reach and deepening penetration.
Giving further insight into the brand and logo unveiling, the Managing Director, African Alliance Insurance Plc, Mrs Funmi Omo described the corporate rebranding as a strategic approach to its business. Mrs Omo asserted that with technology the insurance firm will be targeting the youth who account for over 50% of the population.
According to her, the colours blue and grey selected for the new brand of the company #TheNewAA represents values that will drive its operations. The Blue scheme represents loyalty, trust, technology and stability, while the Grey colour represents friendship, intelligence and sophistication.
With the new corporate identity clients, customers and stakeholders are optimistic that African Alliance will scale its activities and deepen the insurance market, reaching out to the vibrant youthful population in the country.
