The Africa Fintech Network is pleased to
announce that it will take part in "The African Islamic FinTech Summit
(SAIFI)" as a Community Partner.
The event is with the support of the President of
Senegal and the Sengalese Ministry of Finance; and will be held at the Radisson
Blu Plaza, Dakar (Senegal) on the 29th & 30th of November.
SAIFI is a reverse linkage platform to empower African
Startups looking for technical and financial supports to their innovative ideas
that contributes to the digital transformation agenda.
The upcoming edition in Senegal (29 and 30 November
2019) is gaining the attention of leading African financial institutions,
regulators and technology companies given the fact that the main theme -
"African Financial Inclusion in the FinTech Era" complements the
African Development Bank's (AfDB's) initiative.
The event will host the POC and the launching of
innovative FinTech Solutions and will include Keynote Sessions and Regulatory
discussions between Government Agencies, Financial Institutions and Startups.
In addition, a certified training session (24 - 28
November 2019) on "Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)" will
be organised and facilitated by international experts from West African
Financial institutions. The programme will be followed by a technical workshop
on Compliance and AML at the event during which certificates will be given to
participants. Those who participate in this training will be granted full
access to the event.
