Kelvin Ayebaefie Emmanuel started his career as head of business development and training for Alpari (the largest retail FX broker globally at the time). He built the company's corporate communications, and established its regional operations in the North Central & South Southern region of Nigeria. While with the company, client deposit grew from N100m to N1.5bn Naira.
He left to establish the Nigerian operations of ACMGold, a South African Company with operations in 11 Countries. Kelvin was responsible for building the brand from scratch. In 2012, he started his own company and has over the years consulted for several brands including the Boston Securities, Innovative Securities, Tickmill. In 2013, he started and ran a White Label platform to provide an STP platform for traders in Africa.
In 2015, he started and ran the first foreign exchange Conference and Expo to bring together stakeholders in Africa. His efforts led to inaugural discussions with the securities and exchange commission in Nigeria for the development of guidelines and regulatory standards of players in the markets. In 2016, he was appointed to a 24 man team to consult for the Office of the Senate President on the review of Medium Term Economic Framework, presented by the Presidency to the Senate for approval.
In 2019, he was involved in public sector consultations at the Nigerian Senate that sought opposition to the passage of social media regulation and jailing of political prisoners without Fair trial. In 2019, he also established Lacora Stone, a company focused on real estate development and commercial agriculture.
He has been featured multiple times on CNBC Africa, Channels TV, WebTV, Guardian Newspapers, This day Newspapers.
