The attention of the Management of Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) has been drawn to a trending fraudulent invitation on social media platforms in relation to an "NIPC Investment Promotion Package", which claims to triple funds for those who contribute funds to the scheme. The perpetrators of the fraudulent invitation are posing as NIPC staff or agents while attempting to impersonate our brand and identity in order to defraud the unsuspecting public.

This is to inform the general public, and the investing community, that NIPC as an ethical agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria, is not in any way associated with or involved in the scheme neither does it promote or support any such investment scheme.

Members of the public are therefore advised to completely disregard the invitation and not participate in or contribute any money whatsoever to the scheme.

To avoid being misled in terms of the origin of any information being circulated about NIPC, the general public and the investing community are advised to cross-check all information relating to NIPC on its website. It has accurate and reliable information on NIPC's activities. We also wish to advise that NIPC does not currently have any WhatsApp group platform for the general public.

NIPC is an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria established with a mandate to encourage, promote and coordinate investments in Nigeria. Our investment facilitation services and information portal are provided free of charge to the investing public.
