NBCC Launches Its Knowledge, Skills and Resource Centre

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) recently launched and dedicated its Knowledge, Skills and Resources Centre housed at the NBCC Headquarters in Lekki Lagos. The fully equipped centre which is sponsored by and named after Chief Olusegun Osunkeye, CON, OFR, FCA provides the opportunity for members and non-members of the NBCC to work, study or brainstorm ideas in a conducive environment.


In her welcome remarks, the President and Chairman of Council, Bisi Adeyemi thanked Chief Osunkeye for his generosity and dedicated support of all the Chamber's activities especially towards making the NBCC Headquarters Plaza building a reality.

Speaking at the launching, Chief Osunkeye CON, OFR FCA said "The Knowledge, Skills & Resource Centre is one of the ways I believe we can invest in the budding entrepreneurs and businesses in this digital generation and make a difference". Gracing the occasion with Chief Osunkeye, were his daughter, Mrs Kemi Adewole and Granddaughter, Funmi Fasasi, Channel Lead, Velocity East Africa at Cisco.

While conducting a live demo of the Computer software, Mrs Fasasi explained "each computer comes installed with an active shelf integrated library solution and has Open Access to over 200,000 resources".


The private launching was well attended by Council Members and Executives of the Chamber, Immediate Past President, Mr Kayode Falowo, Honorary Life Vice-President Dr Joe Dada, Deputy President Mr Ray Atelly frpa, Deputy President Prince Bimbo Olashore, Princess Ladun Lawal Council Member, Mrs Awuneba Ajumogobia, Council Member, Mrs Ayomide Olajide, Director General amongst other special guests.
