Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) in Partnership with Leapworld Limited will on June 30, 2020 celebrate the 2020 United Nations MSME Day with small business owners as well as key experts and policy makers in the industry.

The event themed "COVID-19: The Great Lockdown and its impact on Small Business" would be hosted by Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda, DG/CEO SMEDAN and have in attendance:


  1. His Excellency Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Vice President, Federal Republuc of Nigeria.
  2. Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Hon. Minister, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments, and
  3. Ambassador Maryam Katagum, Hon. Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments.


It will also feature a panel session with the CBN, SMEDAN, UNIDO, NECA, NASME, NASSI, to be moderated by Mrs. Ndidi Nwuneli, MFR, Managing Partner, Sahel Consulting, as well as:

  1. A documentary on strategies for MSMEs to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic

  4. Keynote addresses from the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) and the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investments.
