The US and China are scheduled to hold trade talks in Washington to
douse the trade tension between the two countries. The arrest of the CFO of
leading Chinese telecommunications company, Huawei, is not helping matters.
Brent oil jumped 2.7% to $61.55pb as traders have already factored the
possible rapprochement into the market.
