NBCC To Host 2019 Economic Outlook on January 24

Nigeria’s foremost business group the Nigeria-British Chamber of Commerce is set to host its first breakfast meeting for the year on  Thursday January 24th, 2019.

The focus will be the “2019 Economic Outlook” which promises to be an incisive and though provoking  session for  the business community in Nigeria.

It will be hosted at the prestigious Lagos Oriental Hotel from  8.00am  with special focus on the 2019 economic oulook drivers and the impact of the general elections , GDP and Oil production on the economy and areas of growth and development.

The event will also provide an insight into the Global, regional and national growth forecasts and economic recovery.

The NBCC monthly Breakfast Meeting is an important forum for policy-makers, business leaders and stakeholders to address and exchange ideas about economic issues in Nigeria and globally.

Speakers that will feature at the event include Dr Doyin Salami, Mr Austin Okere and Mr Olufemi Awoyemi.

Dr Doyin Salami is an economist, former member of the monetary policy committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria and a lecturer with Lagos Business school.

Mr Austin Okere is the Founder of the Computer Warehouse Group Plc,  a leading ICT solutions provider quoted on the Nigeria stock exchange.

Mr Olufemi Awoyemi, FCA is a chartered accountant,  financial analyst and founder of Proshare a leading financial information hub recently recognized by the London Stock Exchange as a “Company to Inspire Africa”.

It will be moderated by Ms Abiola Adekoya the CEO of Rand Merchant Bank Stockbrokers.

This event draws attendance from key industry leaders, government officials and members of the diplomatic community.
