A cursory analysis of the top-line performance of the quoted companies on the Nigerian bourse positions the SCOA, a Conglomerates firm as leading company with best impressive top-line growth of 155.53% as ranking analysis suggests. This is followed by NCR, an ICT company with growth of 150.93%.
Impressively, Sterling Bank and ACCESS leads the banking stocks with 92.62% and 88.00% Top-line growth while ETI made top 10 leading Gross growth with 63.18%
On the other hand, DNMEYER and BECOPETRO lead the worst performing top-line in the year 2012. The table below puts this in proper perspective.
Oando, a Oil and Gas Sector firm is second highest in terms of Turnover (487.78 billion) amongst the list of quoted companies has a turnover growth of 24.33% but the stock lost - 44.45% during the year.
In Agriculture sector, Livestock Feeds has a Turnover growth of 69.57% with YTD gain of 90.67%.
Amongst Conglomerates, Transcorp Turnover dropped by -39.75% but the stock gained 83.93% during the year.
Consumer Goods sector showed a mixed performance with International Breweries leading the chart with Turnover growth of 31.31%.
