Consumer Goods Sector – NESTLE, CHAMPION and NB Record Over 1,000 PE Ratio

The consumer goods sector has food products, beverages, automobiles, personal and households’ durables goods companies’ stocks, commonly referred to as FMCGs, listed in the sector. 

A brief review of the EPS ratio of the Consumer Goods sector reveals that FLOURMILL tops based on EPS and closely followed by DANGFLOUR and DANGSUGAR while 7UP and GUINNESS lead otherwise with negative EPS.

A review of the PE Ratio of the Consumer Goods sector revealed that NESTLE and CHAMPION top the table while GUINNESS and 7UP lead otherwise with negative figures.

DANGFLOUR  tops Consumer Goods sector on Return on Equity (RoE) ratio while VITAFOAM  records the least ratio with a negative figure. 


DUNLOP tops Consumer Goods sector’s PAT Margin as UNIONDICON follows on the ladder while MULTITREX and UTC record the least percentage figure. 

Consumer Goods sector records six (6) gainers to fourteen (14) losers in 2016 as at 23rd December, 2016. DANGFLOUR  tops the gainers’ list with +253.10% gain while 7UP tops the losers’ chart with -29.12% loss.
