Garri, a Nigerian household staple, has become popular for its
convenience and easy preservation attributes. It is consumed across various
regions in Nigeria in its dry form or as a swallow with different Nigerian
soups.
The value chain of cassava production can result in several by-products
including garri. There is an opportunity for commercial investment in the
processing of cassava into garri.
