FRCN and DCSL to host Corporate Governance Masterclass on December 16, 2020

The Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria & DCSL Corporate Services Limited are hosting a Corporate Governance Masterclass themed "Board Practices and Dynamics". The dynamics of the Board and the interaction among Board Members impact the quality of Board decisions and the ability to achieve set objectives. Understanding these dynamics within the context of best practice is critical to Board effectiveness and corporate success. The Masterclass will also highlight the key provisions of the Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance (NCCG 2018), the role of each governance organ and what their responsibilities are under the Code.


The virtual training which will be facilitated by subject matter experts will focus on the following modules:

  • The Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance and Boardroom dynamics
  • Board and Audit Committee - Risk and Compliance
  • The Role of the Board in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Matters
  • The Company Secretary as an Influencer of Good Governance
