Stanbic IBTC Shines at FMDQ OTC Inaugural Gold Awards

As part of its market development agenda, Nigeria’s leading fixed income securities exchange and debt capital market the FMDQ OTC hosted its inaugural Gold awards ceremony on Friday November 9, 2018 in Lagos. 

 

This was part of activities to marks its Fifth Year Anniversary, recognising the commitments and invaluable contributions of the various stakeholders in its markets towards growth and development of the market. 

 

The GOLD Awards, a first in the Nigerian financial markets, was designed to acknowledge and formally recognise the contributions of participants within the FMDQ markets, whose activities have positively and directly impacted the development of the markets thereby making them “GOLD” – Globally Competitive, Operationally Excellent, Liquid and Diverse. 

 

Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc one of Nigeria's leading banking groups emerged the outstanding winner as it clinched the primary and secondary markets overall champion. 

 

The banking group subsidiary Stanbic IBTC Capital Limited was the primary market champion, while Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc bagged the secondary market champion award.
