DCSL Corporate Services Limited hosts the 7th edition of its Annual Company Secretaries' Roundtable

DCSL Corporate Services Limited ("DCSL") will host Company Secretaries and renowned corporate governance practitioners from various sectors of the economy to its annual Company Secretaries' Roundtable on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Lagos.


The annual event is in pursuit of DCSL's commitment to deepening Corporate Governance best practices in Nigeria and drawing attention to the all-important and evolving role of the Company Secretary particularly in line with the expectations of the Company Secretary as Corporate Governance Professionals and Influencers.


Year on year, the Roundtable has hosted distinguished subject matter experts and this year, at the 7th edition of the Roundtable and under the distinguished Chairmanship of Mrs. Cecilia Akintomide OON - an Attorney and a renowned Corporate Governance and Development Finance expert and an Independent Director on the Board of FBN Holdings, the event promises to be a riveting experience.


Discussions at the Roundtable will focus on "The Company Secretary: Corporate Governance Influencer" with topics ranging from

  • Deploying Technology to improve Board Effectiveness
  • Building a balanced Board: Thoughts on the challenges to Board Diversity
  • Supporting Boards: Managing Meetings and Information flow
  • Conflict of Interest on the Board - what role for the CS? and
  • Dealing with multiple Regulators.
