Financing Agricultural commodity value chain is concerned with the flow of funds to and within a value chain to meet the specific need of chain actors and players for finance in order to ensure food security, availability of input or produce and improved efficiency in the global Agribusiness sector. Therefore financing the value chain should be based on global best practice, with players working closely with the AgriFinance departments of Commercial Banks and other financial institutions.
In the light of the above, the Nigerian Stock Exchange in collaboration with Corporate Farmers International Limited is organising this high profile workshop to bring key players from the agricultural sector together to share insights and practical tips for addressing topical issues in the market place. The workshop is designed to enhance participants knowledge on how the value chain is linked enabling them to proactively contribute to the development of the Agriculture eco-system in line with the renewed focus to diversify the Nation’s income base.
