United Capital Supports the Arts; Partners IDD UK “Women in the Arts” Event

As part of our strategic commitment to the development of society, arts and culture, United Capital Asset Management has partnered with IDD UK to sponsor “Women in the Arts”, an art event that showcases the work of Nigerian female artists. IDD UK is hosting this event in collaboration with Gaia Women Club and it will take place this Friday, April 12, 2019. 

The event will see lovers of art, clients and artists alike in a forum that aims to showcase Nigerian contemporary art while bringing to the fore cultural globalization and  increase in value. The objective is to improve the value of Nigeria art by exposing Nigerian artists to mainstream collectors. 

Speaking on the partnership, MD/CEO Asset Management, Odiri Oginni said “The IDD UK is doing a great job bringing our art to the world and showcasing our indigenous artists. At United Capital, we believe Art is a cumulative expression of society, culture and shared value, and our sponsorship of the “Women in Arts” event presents a rare opportunity for us to announce the beauty of our proud heritage.” 

The event which kicks off on April 12 will also feature a trip to Benin City and audience with, the Oba of Benin.
