The Financing Agriculture Commodity Value Chain workshop at the Nigeria Stock exchange has been rescheduled from October 1oth, 2018 to November 22nd, 2018.
The workshop is a collaboration between the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Corporate Farmers International Ltd that will bring key players from the agriculture sector together to share insights and practical tips for addressing topical issues in the market place.
It will be concerned with the flow of funds to and within a value to meet the specific need of chain actors and players for finance in order to ensure food security, availability of input or produce and improved efficiency in the Global Agribusiness sector.
The workshop is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge on how the value chain is linked enabling them to proactively contribute to the development of the Agriculture eco-system in-line with the renewed focus to diversify the Nation’s income base.
The Objective of the Financing Agriculture Commodity Value Chain Training, include the following;
1.Provide practical, evidence-based guidance to financial
institutions and other stakeholders engaging in FACVC
2.Present a comprehensive picture of agriculture value chains so
as to enable financial institution and other stakeholders to work with different
segments of the value chain.
3.Describe the structure, relationships and drivers of an
agriculture value chain
4.Shed light on the opportunities for profitable penetration and
expansion into the market
Target Audience
Target audience for the workshop include;
1.Personnel on Agric Desks of Commercial Banks,

3.Ministries and Agencies,
4.Members of the Association of Stockbroking Houses of Nigeria,
5.Young Agro-entrepreneurs,

Farming.

The Workshop will cover several areas including:

NSE perspectives
3.Trends in Agriculture Industrialisation
