The Bureau of Public Enterprises has met with the leadership of Transnational Corporation and Capital Leisure and Hospitality Limited over the ownership tussle for 51 per cent equity in Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

A statement issued by the Head of Public Communications, BPE, Mr. Chigbo Anichbe, in Abuja on Thursday said BPE Director-General, Dr. Christopher Anyanwu, met with the leadership of Transcorp and Capital Leisure and Hospitality in Abuja on Wednesday to resolve the tussle over the ownership of 51 per cent equity in the hotel.

There have been disagreements between the two organisations recently with each laying claim to ownership of majority equity in the prime hotel in the Federal Capital Territory .

Anichebe said following the meeting, the parties agreed to resolve their differences amicably for the interest of the business and continued growth and development of the hotel.
