Mr. Isaac Orolugbagbe has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL), a member of Sifax Group. This was announced today by the Managing Director/CEO, Chike Ogeah Esq.
Isaac Orolugbagbe who holds a B.Sc. Chemistry from the University of Ife (now OAU) and a Master in Business Leadership (MBL) from the University of South Africa started work as an Audit Trainee in Olatunde Ayoola & Company, Lagos in 1985, from where he moved to Bola-Sadipe & Company in 1987.
Mr. Orolugbagbe joined DHL in 1991 as the Treasury Controller, from where he crossed to Red Star Express in 1994, first as Audit Manager, then Chief Accountant and later rose to the position of Assistant General Manager, Finance and Administration in1996.
The new COO, who also spent some time with Shell Petroleum Development Company as a senior Accountant, is the immediate Past Managing Director of Red Star Express, a position he occupied for 10 years before his retirement in 2007.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Fellow, Institute of Directors (IoD); and Fellow, Chartered Institute of Marketing; Alumnus, Lagos Business School, Nigeria and Witts Business School, South Africa.
Mr. Isaac Orolugbagbe is a public speaker on Business Leadership & Strategy, leading sessions on Business Strategy on a part-time basis at the Lagos Business School of the Pan African University. He has published reports on Courier, Express and Postal Industry in Nigeria, and the Effectiveness of Audit Committees in Nigerian Banks.
The COO has the mandate to offer outstanding services to all SAHCOL's clients, facilitate an enabling environment for all employees to perform at peak level, and provide superior returns to investors and other stakeholders.
His appointment took effect from February 1, 2010.
