Dangote Sugar profit drops

Dangote Sugar said on Wednesday its pretax profit dropped 36 per cent to N15.86 billion ($106 million) in the nine months to September 30.
Its gross earnings fell to N59.44 billion from N64.35 billion a year ago, the firm said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Dangote Sugar earlier on Wednesday reported that pretax profit in its first half to June 30 fell 43 per cent to N9.74 billion.
