Diamond Bank opens 15 new branches

 

Diamond Bank Plc has added 15 new branches to its business locations, bringing its total branch network to 162.

 

In a statement on Wednesday, the bank reaffirmed its commitment to bringing its total branch network to 200 before the close of the second quarter of this year.

 

It added that its aggressive business expansion strategy would deepen its market penetration and also enable it to meet customers’ needs with alacrity.

 

The bank stated that the new branches were deliberately located in the neighbourhood of residential and commercial areas in order to make life easier for its customers.

 

This, it said, was to access the bank’s customer-centered services and products developed to generate customers’ growth and development.

 

“The branches are built in accordance with the bank’s prototype business locations, which are roomy, comfortable and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to make banking transactions convenient,” it stated.

 

The statement added that the increase in branch network was in line with the bank’s support for the growth of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in the country.

 

It said this would be enhanced by its closeness to those locations deemed reachable by the target market.

 

According to the statement, the new branches have all the full bouquet of the bank’s products, which are tailor-made to meet the peculiar needs of the bank’s various customers, varying from corporate to retail products.

 

The bank noted that one of its retail products available to customers at the new branches included DiamondXpress - an account designed for those requiring fast and easy access to their funds through ATMs. It also said that the Diamond Target Achievement Plan allowed savers the opportunity to grow a pool of funds to meet specific future needs.

 

“Diamond Advantage – a one stop employer-employee banking solution, and Diamond Integrated Savings Account - is a unique blend of current and savings account and many other productrs are available at the new branches,” the bank said. - Punch
