Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc introduced ‘Bancassurance’ as part of its product and services in insurance business in Lagos on Monday.

The Divisional Director, Retail Business, Mr. Owolabi Salami said, GTA spent considerable time and resources over the past 15 months on design before commencing the implementation and execution of the product.

According to him, “We need to develop need based products in addition to our current bouquet of retail products; deploy a robust insurance retail processing and underwriting software; recruit and train a large number of personnel in the area of financial planning; set up a retail processing center with the capability to process transactions efficiently; and complement these efforts with a dynamic and fresh marketing campaign.� - Punch
