Outgoing US Consul General guarantees support for the NSE

LAGOS - The Outgoing United States Consul General in Lagos Nigeria , Joseph Stafford today visited the Nigerian Bourse in commemoration of his tenure expiration.
CEO of the Exchange, Oscar Onyema noting the backing given to the NSE by Stafford during his stay in Nigeria remarked that the Consul General has been helpful in numerous areas to the bourse.
Rendering his goodwill message to stockbrokers at the floor of the NSE, Stafford wished the NSE well in its vision under the leadership of Onyema. He notes, “The role of an Exchange in any economy is vital” considering the array of economic reforms for, which is for the prosperity of the society.”
He stated, “We as representatives of the Consulate of the United States of America have come to promote cooperation, understanding, friendship and solidarity.”
Stafford sees the United States of America supporting the NSE in the area of Technology and Trainings.
