7th Edition of RIMAW Awards set to hold in Nigeria.


The Records and Information Management Awareness Foundation (RIMA Foundation) is set to hold the 7th edition of its annual workshop, exhibition and awards. The event which is tagged Records and Information Management Awareness Workshop, Awards and Exposition (RIMAW & RIMA Awards 2011) is billed to hold at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja Lagos on October 28 and 29, 2011 respectively.

 

A paper on the theme, “National Identity Management System: A social Infrastructure for Good Governance and Promotion of National Image” will be presented at RIMAW 2011 by Mr. Chris Onyemenam, Director General/Chief Executive, National Identity Management Commission of Nigeria. Other speakers include Mr. H. Larry Eiring, CRM, FAI, Chairman of the Board of Trustees - The ARMA International Educational Foundation, USA and Mr. Olufemi Awoyemi, MD/CEO - Proshare Nigeria Limited.

 

The awards, which will mark the climax of the workshop and exhibition, will be given to individuals and corporate organizations for their contributions and involvement in promoting the records and information management industry.

 

Speaking about the RIMAW & RIMA Awards 2011, Mr. Oyedokun Ayodeji Oyewole, President of RIMA Foundation said “the workshop will provide attendants with unique opportunities to meet leading information management, security and technology solution providers such as LASRAB, Xerox Nigeria, Rabonni, Docudata among others. Oyewole adds that the Expo will open all day to allow vendors and exhibitors showcase solutions that facilitate effective information management and security, business processes management, improve productivity and enhance collaboration in today’s organization.

 

Intending attendants, exhibitors and sponsors of RIMAW and RIMA Awards 2011 are requested to register at RIMA Foundation’s website (http://rimaw.org/Registration.php) for free.

 

RIMA Foundation is a non-profit NGO that seek to promote proper management and security of records and information in Nigeria and Africa.
