The company has notified the Exchange that Mrs. Kemi Ogunmefun has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director on its Board, effective April 28, 2011.
Mrs. Ogunmefun is a seasoned banker and a legal practitioner with dual jurisdiction practice licenses having been called to the Nigerian and Canadian Bar. She obtained her bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Lagos in 1974.
She has more than 25 years of banking experience at senior management level in several Nigerian banks. She was also a board member of a Canadian Charity, where she served as the chairperson of the Governance Committee. Also, Mrs. Ogunmefun is the managing Partner of Kemi Ogunmefun Law Office a Law firm based in Ontario Canada.
