Unity Bank Plc: Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Company has notified The Exchange of the appointment of Alhaji Nu’uman Barau Danbatta as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Bank upon approval by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Alhaji Danbatta holds a Degree in Political Science from Bayero University College, Kano and is a member of various Federal Government Boards/Committees. He has worked in various Ministries both in the State and Federal Government, occupying different positions. Among which are Ministry of Rural & Community Development, Kano State and Federal Ministry of Transportation. He has attended many training courses both within and outside Nigeria. Alhaji Danbatta Prior to this appointment was the Permanent Secretary Establishment and Records Office (ERO) In the Office of the Head of Civil service of the Federation (OHCSF), The Presidency. He retired from civil service on 1ST January 2010. He is 56 years old and married with children.
