Berger Paints Nigeria Plc: Appointment of Executive Director

The Company has notified The Exchange of the appointment of Mr. Tor Nygard as its Executive Director, effective 2011.
Mr Tor obtained his first degree in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota School, Mine and Technology Rapid City, U.S.A and Masters Degree in Business Administration. He was Managing Director of Heidelberg cement (Scancem International ANS)and also Managing Director/ Acting Chairman of Board of Director for Norwegian Consul in Accra, Ghana. Before then, he was a senior Consultant Africa Oslo, Norway 2000-2001.Until this appointment; he was the Aker Solutions VP Business Development Lagos, Nigeria. Tor is 64 years old and married.
